Wings Over Springbank, the biannual airshow held at the Springbank Airport, was cancelled yesterday, the Springbank Airport said in a statement on its website.
The Airport said that the airshow was cancelled due to the ongoing construction at the airport and along Range Road 33 near the airport.
The Springbank Airport has held the Wings Over Springbank Airshow biannually since 2009. The airport had to cancel the airshow 2021 due to COVID. The airshow returned in 2022 but will once again be taking another longer-than-usual break.
