RCMP find guns, drugs on Warlocks rural Northern Alberta gang property

“The seizure of stolen property, drugs, firearms demonstrates the close ties that many of these outlaw motorcycle clubs have with crime in our communities,” Staff Sergeant Darcy McGunigal said in a Nov. 4 news release.

Police say they found stolen vehicles, guns and drugs when they searched a gang-affiliated property in Sturgeon County last month.

Morinville Mounties tracked a stolen vehicle using its GPS system to the property on Highway 37 Oct. 4. When they executed a search warrant, they arrested the five people inside the building and seized:

  • Stolen 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 and 2017 Ford F350 pickups;
  • A stolen 2014 Moto Guzzi California motorcycle;
  • A stolen electric bicycle;
  • 1 loaded hand gun;
  • 1 imitation hand gun;
  • A rifle;
  • A taser;
  • 13.5 grams of cocaine.

Police also “located several items associated to the Warlocks Motorcycle Club.
