Alberta Culture Days expo at Portage College showcases local cultures

Carrie Froehler, Vice President of People and Culture for Portage College, who is of Norwegian descent herself, was serving up a variety of delectable foods from the Nordic nation, including Krumkake, a Norwegian cookie made from flour, butter, sugar, and cream, as well as Lefse, a type of flatbread. There were all kinds of ethnic delicacies for people to try at the Alberta Culture Days Expo, which took place on Thursday, Sept. 28 at Portage College. Our reporter Chris went to the Portage College Culture Days Expo that ran in conjunction with Alberta Culture Days at the end of September. We just noticed it hadn't been sent to our web-page.  Sorry.
