LAC LA BICHE - The current phase of the Main Street Revitalization Project was finished just in time for Halloween.

As vehicles drove along the newly-opened road through where only hours earlier a traffic circle had stood since the spring, hundreds of trick-or-treaters and their parents walked along main street receiving generous portions of candy from downtown businesses. There was plenty of excitement and among the throngs of people dressed in a variety of colourful, interesting and outright zany costumes who took to Main Street Tuesday afternoon and early evening for the event.

In area subdivisions, little ghouls and ghosts were out in force. RCMP and peace officers were keeping a close eye on the activity.
