GOODRIDGE - On Nov. 10, the Goodridge 4-H Beef Club held its annual weigh day.

This event happened at DART Simmental Farm near Goodridge, and the members enjoyed the day.

This year, the club has two new members, to make a total of 12 members and five Cleaver kids. The club has one carcass steer project, 11 market steer projects, three heifer projects, five 2-year-old cow/calf projects, and one 3-year-old cow/calf project.

After the weigh-in, the club met for pizza and an annual general meeting at Goodridge Hall. All in all, the club is excited to kick off the 2024/25 4-H year.

The Goodridge 4-H Club would like to thank Ryan Kwiatkowski of DART Simmental for the use of his facilities for the weigh day.

The club would also like to thank everyone who is holding executive positions, and the volunteers for this year. Stay tuned to see upcoming events, such as public speaking in March 2025.
