St. Paul Lions continue football season with win over Cold Lake

ST. PAUL - A win over Cold Lake will keep the St. Paul Lions' football season alive as the team prevailed 33-14 on their home field, Friday night.

St. Paul found the end zone first, but Cold Lake kept pushing, keeping the game close and forcing the Lions to battle through the four quarters of play.

The Lions will now take on the Holy Rosary Raiders from Lloydminster on Nov. 2 in Lloydminster for the Wheatland Football League championship game. Holy Rosary remains undefeated this season and won their last game by forfeit.
