BONNYVILLE – A senior has died after being hit by a vehicle in Bonnyville on June 14, according to a Bonnyville RCMP news release.
RCMP and EMS responded to the scene and the pedestrian, a 78-year-old female resident of Bonnyville, was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and identified themselves to police, according to the news release.
The Alberta RCMP sends their thoughts to the family and friends of the deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and RCMP indicate an update will be considered once more information is available.
