Ford Mustang stolen from Bonnyville residence is recovered

A Ford Mustang allegedly stolen from a Bonnyville residence on Oct. 13 has been recovered, but police say "the suspect is still outstanding."

BONNYVILLE - A Ford Mustang allegedly stolen from a Bonnyville residence on Oct. 13 has been recovered, but police say "the suspect is still outstanding."

On Oct. 13 at 3:30 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP received a report that a man attended a residence and while he was there, stole the homeowner's car keys and proceeded to steal a Ford Mustang.

"The car was later recovered but the suspect is still outstanding," according to information from RCMP. 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Nathan Waskewitch, 38, of Edmonton. He has been charged with theft of car, failing to comply with a release order and theft under $5,000. 

"Anyone with information on Waskewitch’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Bonnyville RCMP or Crimestoppers."
