Police lay charges following bear spray incident in St. Paul

ST. PAUL - Two men are facing charges after a vehicle with four youth were "bear sprayed," on Oct. 8.

RCMP responded to the report of an assault with a weapon within the town of St. Paul on Oct. 8. Police say the four youth had allegedly been followed in their vehicle prior to the incident.

Tyler Roy Desjarlais, 22, was charged with assault with a weapon (x4) and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Leland Mitchell Jarvis, 18, was charged with assault with a weapon (x4) and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Both individuals were held for a judicial hearing and released with conditions. Both are scheduled to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on Oct. 31.
