ST. PAUL - Town of St. Paul residents have shown faith in their past council, re-electing all incumbents who had put their names forward.

Norm Noel garnered the most votes, getting the nod 875 times.

Brad Eamon also had a strong showing, tallying 779 votes.

Ron Boisvert walked away with 718 votes. Not far behind was council's newest face, Sid Sood, who had 714 votes.

Nathan Taylor will return to council after receiving 708 votes, and Gary Ward will also get his seat back with 698 votes.

But, the race for the last seat was tight. Daniel Gadowski wasn't far behind Ward with 676 votes, but it still wasn't quite enough.

Dwight Wiebe and Joe Khandual received 400 and 264 votes respectively.

The Town of St. Paul's mayor, Maureen Miller, was elected by acclamation to serve another term.

Former council member Tyson deMoissac did not seek re-election.

Results from Monday night's election are unofficial.
