WESTLOCK - An explosion rocked a Westlock neighbourhood late Thursday night.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and blocked off the street as they worked quickly to control the fire.
Flames and heavy smoke could be seen coming from a home on 105 Street near the corner of 100 Street (Highway 18) around 5:30 p.m. just as many residents were getting home from work.
One of them was nearby neighbour Vanessa Baillie, who heard a loud boom.
"We were just pulling in home from work actually and we heard explosions," said Baillie.
It is unknown if anyone was hurt in the fire.
More details will be posted when they are available.
