BONNYVILLE - The Bonnyville U-9 and U-11 Lakeland Heat lacrosse teams recently won two championship banners.
The Wheatland Lacrosse Association year-end tournaments were held in Wainwright from June 14-16, signalling an end to another successful season.
Coach Eric Gaulin said it was a big weekend for the Bonnyville teams, and that the kids had an amazing time.
Parent Marielle Brimacombe says it was really special to see the teams cheering each ther on.
“U11 warmed up for their gold medal win by cheering on the U9’s gold medal win. Chanting 'defence' with all their might," said Brimacombe.
