LA COREY - A 61-yearold man is dead following a single-vehicle collision north of La Corey on Jan. 9.
Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to the scene at 10:21 p.m. on TWP. RD. 460. A Bonnyville resident was pronounced deceased at the scene and three other occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital, accord to an RCMP media release.
“The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the road was closed for many hours. Preliminary investigation suggests that impairment was a factor,” according to the release.
RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. No name has been released.
