LAC LA BICHE - The Portage College Voyageurs men’s hockey team dropped a pair of exhibition matches to the Augustana Vikings last weekend.

The Voyageurs faced off against the Vikings at the Bold Centre during a Friday evening game last week on home ice that resulted in a 3-0 win for the visiting team. The Voyageurs travelled to Camrose the next day for a rematch.

Although they didn’t win that second go, the Voyageurs managed to score three goals in the 6-3 game contest.

Next action Oct. 4

The Voyageurs hit the ice again Oct. 4 when the team is on the road to take on the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder. The Thunder will be travelling to Lac La Biche on Saturday, Oct. 5 to face the Voyageurs for a 7 p.m. game at the Bold Centre.
