LAC LA BICHE - While the rainy and cool weather over the last few weeks hasn't been great for outdoor activities, it has been perfect for indoor events such as the recent Lac La Biche Agricultural Society’s annual spring garage sale.
The garage sale, which took place on June 8 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Lakeland Agricom, featured just under 20 vendors from the Lac La Biche region, as well as Edmonton, St. Paul, and Westlock.
Standing behind tables, these vendors sold a variety of items-including baked goods, crafts, clothing, and footwear to people who stopped by throughout the day hoping to get some great bargains.
For more than a decade, the Lac La Biche Agricultural Society has hosted garage sales during the spring and fall in a bid to raise money to help cover the costs of putting on events. For this sale, vendors paid $5 to rent a table, with that money going to the community organization.
