LAKELAND - Lac La Biche's Bold Center played host to boys minor soccer players from across the Lakeland on Dec. 6 for a series of league play games.

League weekends are held throughout the indoor soccer season to give young players more game experience.

The U13 and U17 boys' teams played on Dec. 7. And while U11 and U15 teams were set to play on Dec. 8 the games were cancelled due to winter road conditions, and have been rescheduled to take place on Jan. 4 in Bonnyville.

In February, Cold Lake will host to the 2025 Lakeland Cup, which is held annually and draws teams from across the region.

The winning teams from each age group in the tournament will move on to represent the Lakeland area at the provincials.
