LAC LA BICHE - Easter came a bit early for those who gathered at the Lac La Biche Mission on March 24 for an afternoon of fun.

Cold March winds didn’t deter the large group of people who came for the event, which ran from 1-4 p.m. and included an Easter egg hunt around the grounds of the historical site as well as a petting zoo featuring sheep, goats, and donkeys.

After enjoying themselves outside, the youngsters and their families headed into the main building at the Lac La Biche Mission to colour pictures and eggs as well as have hot chocolate and snacks. No Easter activity would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny himself, and he made his rounds chatting with kids and adults alike.
