Lac La Biche RCMP officers have laid charges against a man and a woman following the death of a 38-year-old man, after what appears to have been a break and enter and robbery at a home on the Kikino Metis Settlement on Saturday.
Police have laid charges of second-degree murder, break and enter and robbery against Cody Patrick Hardy, 22, and Tamara Myrna Hardy, 27.
Both are scheduled to make their first court appearance in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on May 4.
The identity of the victim has not been released because of privacy regulations, but police say the victim died in hospital in Edmonton after suffering severe injuries following a "serious incident" at a Kikino residence.
