LAKELAND - A thunderstorm watch is in place for much of the St. Paul, Bonnyville, Cold Lake and Lac La Biche areas, the evening of June 21.
According to Environment Canada, "Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain."
The statement further reads, "Slow moving thunderstorms will continue to develop this evening leading to localized heavy downpours and small hail. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads."
