ST. PAUL – On Sunday, members of the community gathered once again for the annual Terry Fox Run - some walked, some ran, and some pedalled their bikes. It was not about the clock. They were all chasing for something bigger – hope.

The Terry Fox Run has become an annual national tradition to carry on the legacy of Terry Fox, who attempted to run across the country on a prosthetic leg after losing his own to cancer. It was an attempt with a simple goal -  to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

He may not have completed his run, but Fox sparked a movement that now spans decades across the nation.

According to information on the Terry Fox Foundation website, more than $1,100 was raised in St. Paul, exceeding the $770 goal set for this year.
