Curlers of all skill levels are now enjoying the outdoor curling rink at Hub Town Brewing on Okotoks' Elizabeth Street.
The craft brewery has brought back the popular rink for its second year in an effort to get more people to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of spending time outdoors.
“This outdoor rink is just another way of bringing people together with something fun to do over the tough winter months, that just happens to make you feel good too,” said Hub Town co-founder Lisa Watts.
Hub Town partnered with fellow Okotoks entrepreneurs, “GTF Outside,” as well as pair of top female curlers for a Learn to Curl for a Cause event last Sunday afternoon.
The brewery will also be holding a bonspiel and a league on its outdoor curling rink.
