St. Albert police are looking for a man who approached two 15-year-old girls, asked the teens whether they would like to do drugs and have sex with him and then punched their friend in the face.

An RCMP press release says that man, who the teens didn't know, approached the two girls in the parking lot of the Mission Ridge Shopping Centre.

The girls got scared and found their 14-year-old male friend.

"The male friend confronted the suspect who then punched the youth in the face," the release says. "An adult civilian attempted to intervene, but the suspect fled the area."

The man is described as light-skinned, slim, about 5'10, between 25-30 with black hair and a moustache. He was wearing a black hoodie and black shorts.

St. Albert RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.  Anyone with information in relation to this investigation is asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700 or your local police.  If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
