UPDATE: RCMP no longer looking for man missing for a year

Police said a man reported missing and last seen in Alberta may have been in the area of Enderby, B.C.

Didsbury RCMP is no longer asking for the public’s help in locating a man reported missing this week.

Police said in a press release issued Thursday night they were looking for a 44-year-old who was last seen in Didsbury in the spring of 2024.

“However he may be in the area of Enderby, B.C.,” police said Jan. 30.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, Didsbury RCMP reported that he has been located safe. It was not disclosed where he was found.

“RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance,” police said.

Anyone with information about the missing man’s whereabouts were asked to contact Didsbury RCMP at 403-335-3381. Tipsters wanting to remain anonymous were encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the P3 Tips app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
