BONNYVILLE - A group of firefighters from the area are headed to the mountains to provide assistance with the ongoing wildfire situation in Jasper.
The BRFA announced on social media that a crew comprised of members from Bonnyville Station 5, La Corey Station 6 and Fort Kent Station 7 left Saturday, Aug. 10 for a ten-day deployment in the townsite of Jasper.
“We are so very proud of our crew and wish for them to stay safe,” the BRFA states.
