KEHEWIN - A search warrant executed by Bonnyville RCMP in Kehewin resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and the recovery of stolen property.
On April 28, members of the Bonnyville RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in Kehewin Cree Nation. During the search, police say they located stolen property, drugs and firearms. Items recovered include Milwaukee tools, an ATV, identification, two firearms, and 69.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Police also say there was evidence consistent with drug trafficking.
Randall Gadwa, 41, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property over $5,000, unlawful possession of a firearms, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, careless use of a firearm, identity theft and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, according to information from RCMP.
Gadwa was brought before a Justice of the Peace and released from custody to appear in court on May 7.
