BONNYVILLE - The number '44' was a magical one for this year's Terry Fox Run in Bonnyville.
The Sept. 15 event brought a group of 44 residents together on the 44th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run. And if that was not enough of a coincidence, the Bonnyville event also raised $4,400 this year, according to organizer Les Parsons.
Funds raised go to the Terry Fox Foundation, which is then used for cancer research.
