BONNYVILLE - The Bonnyville Friendship Centre hosted a raucous winter fest at the C2 on Feb. 8, featuring an array of bouncy castles, candy and hot chocolate, a round dance, a fire dancer, sleigh rides, and more.
The C2 field house was full of smiling children enjoying an evening of free activities and food. Fireworks wrapped up the evening.
Little Island Cree drummers performed during the event, and Janet Gobert, Director of Operations for the Bonnyville Friendship Centre, welcomed the crowd to join in a round dance in a symbol of reconciliation.
