A semi-detached house under construction in the 4400 block of 38 St. in Bonnyville caught fire early Sunday morning.
While 19 firefighters from the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA) were on the scene and had the fire contained quickly, the home was a total loss, according to a BRFA press release.
Three occupied homes adjacent to the fire were also damaged. The fire investigation is ongoing and no cause has been determined at this time.
