BONNYVILLE – With the arrival of winter, outdoor rinks are now officially open in Cherry Grove, Fort Kent, and Ardmore. All rinks are free to use.

The Cherry Grove outdoor ice rink features a heated change room, hockey nets, and lights, according to information from the MD of Bonnyville. Both the Fort Kent outdoor ice rink and Ardmore ice rink have benches to lace-up skates, alongside hockey nets and lights.

“Take the family and head outside to skate during the winter months. There are two full-size hockey nets for use, benches to sit on while you lace up your skates, and lights for when it's just not time to stop skating yet,” reads information from the MD of Bonnyville.

MD of Bonnyville Reeve Barry Kalinski says the outdoor rinks are great recreational sites for the community.
