BONNYVILLE - Police are still searching for the suspect after they conducted a search warrant where they seized six grams of Fentanyl, .308 calibre rifle, and $450 cash.
The local General Investigation Section (GIS) in collaboration with the Cold Lake GIS and Police Dog Services unit executed a search warrant under the drugs and substances act in the Town of Bonnyville on May 12.
The warrant was part of an ongoing targeted drug investigation into drug trafficking which resulted in the seizure of Fentanyl, .308 calibre firearm, cash, and electronics associated to the sale of drugs locally.
Officers arrested a female on-scene who was released without charge.
Darryl R Lambert, a 34-year-old Bonnyville man, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order condition.
A warrant is out for Lambert's arrest as officer's continue to search for the suspect.
He is described as a 5'9" tall man weighing 185 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
