BONNYVILLE – It’s a Valentine’s Day court appearance for a Cold Lake man after RCMP say they found him in possession of a stolen truck, drugs and a weapon.
“On Feb. 11 at 11 a.m., the Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (EAD CRU) effected an arrest on a female wanted on warrant in the trailer park in the 5500 block of 55 Street in Bonnyville. During the investigation a truck that had been stolen from Edmonton a few days prior was located at the scene and was driven away by a male suspect,” according to a media release.
“EAD CRU, EAD Police Dog Services, Bonnyville GIS and Bonnyville General Duty members worked collaboratively to arrest the male without further incident. “
The suspect was in possession of methamphetamine, a knife, a baton and an airsoft pistol, according to the report.
