Cold Lake RCMP investigating after family dog found dead

COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP are looking for anyone who may have witnessed an incident that left a family dog dead on Oct. 23. On Oct. 24, Cold Lake RCMP received a report that an incident had taken place the day before between the hours of 10 a.m.

COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP are looking for anyone who may have witnessed an incident that left a family dog dead on Oct. 23 in the Ethel Lake area.

On Oct. 24, Cold Lake RCMP received a report that an incident had taken place in the MD of Bonnyville, the day before between the hours of 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

"A member of the public was in their residence when they heard multiple gun shots," according to information from police. "The property owner then located their family dog deceased."

A vehicle was seen in the area shortly after the shots were heard and has been described as a newer model white Ram four-door pickup truck. There was a small logo on the driver/passenger door that was about eight inches in size and appears grey, according to police.

Cold Lake RCMP is seeking any information that could help locate the people connected to the vehicle.
