COLD LAKE - Derek Drake, 32, and Katie Fiddler, 18, have been arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine.
In the early morning hours of June 20, Cold Lake RCMP arrested and charged Drake, a Cold Lake male, and Fiddler, a Frog Lake female, with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and resisting arrest.
Officers found a "significant amount of cocaine and methamphetamine following a vehicle stop where the driver initially failed to stop for police," an RCMP media release states.
The combined approximate value of the drugs is estimated at $140,000.
Drake was remanded into custody and will appear in court June 23, while Fiddler was released on conditions and is scheduled to attend court July 14.
