COLD LAKE - Just 10 days after Michael Jon Mulroy was reported missing by his family, Cold Lake RCMP reported that the 40-year-old Cold Lake man has been located deceased not far from his residence.
RCMP do not believe his death is suspicious. "Our thoughts are with Michael's family and friends," states Cold Lake RCMP.
A close friend of Mulroy, John Mackay, took to social media shortly after RCMP released their findings to share gratitude to those who had offered their condolences and help during the search.
"It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that we have located Mike’s body late this morning," wrote Mackay. "Please give the family time to grieve in private."
The search organized by the family that was set to take place on April 22 has been cancelled.

COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP continue their search for 40-year-old Michael Jon Mulroy. He was reported missing and last seen on April 10 in Cold Lake.
"As the investigation continues, RCMP would like to provide an updated photo of Michael as well as video surveillance taken of Michael shortly before his disappearance," according to Cold Lake RCMP. "It is believed that Michael was wearing the same clothes, hat, and glasses as seen in the video surveillance."
