COLD LAKE - Once again, the Cold Lake Fighter Jets have proved there is no stopping the national title holding team.
On Saturday night at the Thomas Varughese Memorial Field, the Fighter Jets were unrelenting as the earned touchdown after touchdown against their rivals the Airdrie Irish. However, they could not sweep their opponents as hard as the Fighter Jets tried.
The final score was 45-8 for the home team over the Father's Day weekend.
The Fighter Jets will return to their home gridiron on July 15, to take on the Central Alberta Buccaneers.
