COLD LAKE - On Dec. 31, over 328 people attended the City of Cold Lake's annual Kids New Year's Party at the Cold Lake Energy Centre.
There were several bouncy houses, a roaming balloon artist, tattoo stations, photo booths, and a variety of crafts. Mid-afternoon, Kip the Court Jester performed a magic show, with help from the audience, which was followed by a colourful balloon drop.
Katie Pankhurst, program coordinator, stated the New Year's party is one of the yearly events the City plans for the community.
"It's a fun time for the kids and families to ring in the new year."
