COLD LAKE - The City of Cold Lake has officially announced the winners of the 2024 Santa Claus Parade float judging.
On Dec. 13, the top float creators gathered at City Hall to accept their well-deserved awards from Mayor Craig Copeland.
The mayor, who was especially excited to meet one of this year's standout participants, Bluey, expressed his appreciation for the creative efforts of all involved, according to information for the City of Cold Lake.
This year’s award winners were:

Best Business Float: Furniture Galaxy & B Squared Construction

Best Non-Profit Float: Cold Lake Public Library

Mayor's Choice Award: Shelley Williamson Artistry
Before the official announcement, residents had the opportunity to vote for their favourite float. The process involved residents “liking” photos on social media of their top choices. This helped determine winners in both the business and non-profit categories, with Mayor Craig Copeland selecting the "Mayor's Choice Award."
Winners were invited to the awards presentation.
The City of Cold Lake expressed its gratitude to all participants, saying, “We appreciate the time and effort into putting together a float and making this year's parade another huge success. Everyone can't wait for the amazing floats that will be in next year's parade.”
