Fans of the Okotoks Oilers have a chance to double the team’s BCHL All-Star representation with one click.
The BCHL announced the initial roster of players named to the 2025 All-Star Game with Okotoks Oilers captain Jackson Rowland earning the nod while alternate captain Brett Wilson is among the list of candidates in the league’s fan vote.
The initial roster was voted on by the league’s head coaches and general managers with at least one player from all 21 teams represented.
That leaves three final spots up for the fan vote, which is open until Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. MST. Once again, one player per team is represented in the fan vote.
Rowland, who has missed parts of the season to injury, has seven goals and 10 points in 13 games this season, his third with Okotoks.
Wilson, Okotoks’ top rookie last season, leads the team with 16 points in 19 games. The 2006-born winger from Calgary is a Bemidji State University commit.
Okotokian Conyr Hellyer, the captain of the Penticton Vees, was also named to the initial roster. The 2004-born forward, a member of the Jr. A Oilers from 2021-23, has 15 points in 18 games for the Vees.
