LAC LA BICHE - The Lac La Biche RCMP detachment is again closed to public access as rising COVID-19 cases have put the community in a level of enhanced measures.
While services will still be available for the public, actual walk-in visits to the local RCMP office on Beaver Hill Road are not allowed for the time being.
This will be the second time the local detachment has closed its administrative office doors since the COVID-19 pandemic was first identified in the province in March.
Services not affected
The closed doors won't affect services provided by RCMP in the region.
Residents needing administrative help can contact staff at the detachment through the local number during daytime officer hours at 780-404-2500. Residents requiring emergency service can dial 911 or 780-623-4380 at any time.
