LAC LA BICHE - The 2024 Lac La Biche Winter Festival of Trees got underway Friday morning and will run throughout the weekend at the Bold Center.
Tree viewing in the Festival of Trees Wonderland inside of the Bold Center community hall and the Fabulous North Art Show and Sale are on now, and many events will be starting in the afternoon.
Music and crafts
There is a music concert in Cenovus Fieldhouse two from 2-7 p.m., and the Christmas Shopping Extravaganza runs from 3-7 p.m. in Cenovus Fieldhouse one. The shopping event also takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day while the art show runs from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. from Friday to Monday.
This year’s Festival of Trees also features a visit from Santa Claus, children’s activities, a gingerbread challenge, bingo event, and a senior’s tea.
