Alberta' top Health official Deena Hinshaw has also announced all post secondary classes are to be cancelled as well.

"To be clear we are not closing schools," she said in today's press conference, stating that staff will continue to attend the schools to create plans for the implementation of the classroom cancellations going ahead.

"Teachers and other school staff will still be expected to work, either from home or their workplace," further explained Education Minister Adriana LaGrange in the same press conference.

Places of worship are also now to be part of the under-250-gathering protocols.
