LAKELAND - Bonnyville and area ballerinas took to the stage in Lloydminster on Dec. 18 to take part in performances of ‘The Nutcracker.’
Bonnyville ballerinas joined with their United Youth Ballet Company counterparts from Lloydminster to put on two premier performances at the Vic Juba Community Theatre.
“We have started this ballet company to inspire audiences and dancers to be in love with ballet as much as we are,” Sarah Makin, the owner and operator of Fame Dance Studios LTD that runs the ballet company, told Lakeland This Week.
Non-perishable food donations were also collected for the Salvation Army and the Olive Tree at the theatre doors.
