COLD LAKE – Cold Lake RCMP are investigating a fire that broke out at the Lakeland Lutheran Church in the early morning of July 2.
RCMP members received the report of the fire at about 4 a.m.
“Upon arrival, Cold Lake RCMP officers discovered from fire officials that the fire is deemed to be suspicious in nature,” states a media release by RCMP.
An estimated $1.4 million worth of damage was caused to the building, states RCMP.
While police continue to investigate this incident, they are requesting that anyone with information in relation to the fire call the Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3302.
