LAC LA BICHE - A 24-year-old man from Lac La Biche has been charged with possession of child pornography and distrubution of child pornography, according to information released by RCMP on Sept. 11.Police say the alleged victim is not believed to be from the local area.
RCMP say they were initially notified of a man, living in Lac La Biche, who allegedly was in possession of child pornography, and reportedly had distributed it online.
Following a joint investigation by Lac La Biche RCMP and Alberta RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit, Lac La Biche RCMP executed a search warrant on September 10 at a local residence.
"The suspect was arrested later that day," according to RCMP.
Eric Sprecker, a resident Lac La Biche, has been charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
