RCMP say a 20-year old Lac La Biche woman who was last seen at the Beaver Lake Cree Nation in July has been located.
Late Saturday night, Lac La Biche RCMP released a short media statement saying Gabriel (Gabby) Cardinal had been "located safe."
The missing person file for Cardinal was first sent out to media across the province on August 19 of this year, saying the 20 year old had last been seen a month earlier, on July 20. At the time, RCMP had said there was a concern for her well-being.
Saturday's report, almost three months after police say she was last seen, did not provide details about where Cardinal had been located.
Lac La Biche RCMP are thanking the media and public for their assistance.
