COLD LAKE – The sound of Canadian jet planes may be heard overnight this week as Canadian Armed Forces Squadrons from 4 Wing Cold Lake will be conducting night flying training operations over the City of Cold Lake.
The night-time exercises will take place from April 25 to 29.
“4 Wing is always mindful of the Lakeland community and this type of training is not intended to disrupt your valuable peace and quiet,” stated a public service announcement from the 4 Wing Cold Lake.
“Night flying is an essential training requirement for our aircrew and ground crew. The ability to conduct night missions is vital to our operational capability.”
Anyone with questions or concerns is asked to direct their inquiries to Captain Rachel Brosseau with 4 Wings Cold Lake.
