RCMP say "increased police presence" in Plamondon resolved

rcmp
There was an "Increased police presence" reported by RCMP in Plamondon on Sunday morning. The incident, police say, was resolved without incident within half an hour. There is no word on charges

RCMP say they issued an advisory on Sunday morning at 10:30 am about "increased police presence" in Plamondon so residents would be aware of an unfolding situation.

Half an hour after the advisory was issued, it was removed as police say the incident had been resolved without incident.

RCMP are not giving specifics on the call, saying only it was related to a mental health-related situation at a residence in the hamlet's east-side. Police officials on Sunday told the Lac La Biche POST newsroom that the public was not in danger during the call.

On Sunday, police couldn't provide information on any charges relating to the incident, and say an update may be provided if charges are laid.
