FISHING LAKE - A man is facing several charges including reckless discharge of a firearm after Elk Point RCMP responded to a complaint July 13 at Fishing Lake.
“RCMP received a report of a male destroying a residence and firing a gun,” according to an RCMP press release issued Sunday.
“RCMP contained the area and located the suspect a short distance away. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence revealed damage in multiple locations and evidence that at least one round was fired. RCMP also located a stolen rifle,” RCMP stated.
Evan Lee Gladue, 32, of the Elizabeth Metis Settlement is facing a number of charges including: assault mischief, weapons offences (x3), reckless discharge of a firearm, obstruction and failing to comply with release conditions.
Gladue has been remanded in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for Monday in Lac La Biche.
