FORT KENT – A portion of Highway 28 east of Fort Kent is closed as emergency crews respond to a serious motor vehicle collision near Range Road 444.
According to reports by motorists, MD of Bonnyville peace officers are redirecting traffic to use Range Road 445 if they are travelling east from Bonnyville or Range Road 443 if approaching from the Cold Lake side.
Currently, Highway 28 is closed in both directions as emergency crews address the scene.
Please avoid the area and drive with caution, as road conditions appear to be slick.
More information will be updated once RCMP and fire crews are able to provide comment on the incident.
