ST. PAUL - A tractor was reportedly stolen from a County of St. Paul area farm yard in the early morning hours of Jan. 17.
According to the owners of the tractor, it was a 2012 Puma 160 Case ih tractor with hydraulic front arm bars. It was reportedly taken from a farm off Highway 28 and Highway 881 around 2:30 a.m. Tracks show the tractor was headed south.
St. Paul RCMP confirmed a report had been made regarding the theft of a tractor overnight in the area, but no other details were available from police.
When asked if there have been other reports of stolen tractors, Kellieka Formanek, operational watch clerk with St. Paul RCMP, noted that "We do not often have reports of tractors being stolen."
